We design and deliver modular homes throughout Perth, the South West, Great Southern, Wheatbelt, Mid West, Gascoyne, Pilbara and Kimberley, subject to site access and project feasibility.

The physical off-site construction of a Capsule Builders home typically takes approximately 12–16 weeks. This build period cannot commence until the required Planning Approval has been granted.

Once Planning Approval is in place, and after approximately 4 weeks of detailed design and engineering, the Building Permit is applied for, followed by approximately 12–16 weeks for the physical off-site construction of the home.

Once the Building Permit is received, earthworks and pad preparation can commence, and delivery and installation can flow immediately after. The remaining site-completion timeframe is specific to each project and is influenced by the required site structures, foundations, access, service infrastructure, and the location and availability of connection points.

The 12–16 week timeframe therefore refers specifically to the physical off-site build, not the total project duration from planning through to final site completion.

Yes. Modular homes are permanent buildings and require the applicable planning and building approvals. The requirements depend on the property, local planning scheme, zoning and proposed design.

Website and Capsule Studio™ pricing is indicative and helps establish an early budget. A formal quotation is prepared after the design, specification, site conditions, access, transport, siteworks and service requirements are confirmed.

Specialised transport relates to moving the completed home modules to the destination. Route restrictions, escort requirements, module dimensions and site access can affect the final cost.

The separate per-kilometre site-capsule amount applies only to selected items such as a porch, deck, alfresco or carport. It is not part of the specialised home-module transport calculation.

Potentially, yes. Sloping land, battleaxe access, regional locations and restricted sites require early assessment so the building system, footing design, transport and installation method can be selected appropriately.

Homes are developed to meet the applicable energy-efficiency requirements, with orientation, insulation, glazing, shading and ventilation considered as part of the design.

Yes, where feasible. BAL and wind-region requirements are project-specific and must be confirmed through the relevant reports, engineering and approvals.
